Review- First off, I was about to start my review off as this being a fast cash rip off of the far superior, The Last Exorcism. But, since it was on the shelf since 06, I think the release date coinciding with Exorcism coming out on the 4th and this the 11th is kind of suspicious. The film is about Tatiana McMurter, she is possessed and hears voices. In the first ten minutes is a chicken coup scene with chickens then this possessed voice is talking, its laughable and horrible. The story is told thru the eyes of the Priest who will perform this exorcism. Even though, the one before failed and that was the possession his wife had. Tatiana is Ariel Toombs. Who is the daughter of ” Rowdy” Roddy Piper who is also in this film, as someone else who is possessed. He plays Uncle Lucas. The script is horrible. There are so many times in this film that David who also plays Father Michael who performs the exorcism, got lost in his direction. No one ever noticed that the priest was not catholic, but then all of a sudden he was. In a matter of one scene, he changed religions. The effects were horrible,and about 35 minutes into this film I looked at the clock more and more. I am supposed to tell you the plot before the review, the plot will bore the viewer and dumb him down so fast that he will want to rent The Last Exorcism. MTI has hit some home runs, Sutures is awesome. Albino Farm not too shabby. But, this is review number two that I absolutely hated the film. I don’t blame the studio for a fast cash lord knows if I knew I had a piece of shit, I would try to profit as well and looking at the cover the film is so promising, trust me once the opening credits end…this film is anything but promising. Movie lovers who want a good possession film I hope you don’t get duped by this one. Roddy Piper it is not 1988, and They Live while it was awesome, you cant base your whole career off it, can you?
