In this episode of Gill & Roscoe’s thing of the thing, your hapless hosts take on the three cinematic treatments of John W. Campbell Jr’s “Who Goes There” – namely “The Thing from Another World” (1957), “The Thing” (1982) and “The Thing” (2011). In-keeping with the “Thing” theme we also discuss the vaguely racist “The Thing with Two Heads” (1972) as well as a number of other typically unrelated ‘things’ including Star Wars fan-edits, Seasonal Affective Disorder(Gill)/Sexy Podcasters(Roscoe) and the dreadful(Roscoe)/brilliant(Gill) MOR(Roscoe)/Inspiring(Gill) jazz-metal of Mike Patton. No hamsters were harmed in the making of this podcast, but one toilet roll tube was irreparably damaged.
