W.T.F. With Bianca Barnett 010: Black Roses
Horror movies and heavy metal- a match made in hell if there ever was! In part one of a very special metal slashhorror anthology, episode ten of Watch These Films with Bianca Barnett kicks off with Black Roses (1988), directed by John Fasano. Overall, the film is pretty cheesy, even for the 1980s, but the pert soundtrack alone made this film a cult classic. Heavy metal infused glam from Lizzy Borden, King Kobra, Tempest, and Bang Tango scream late ’80s machismo magick! Definitely check out the soundtrack if you love indulging in ’80s metal as much as I do! There are ample w.t.f. moments, but this flick is probably only worth a rent for fun; 2 out of 5 stars.
